Dhosi is a small village of 649 hectares in Khetri Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhosi depends on NARNAUL (HARYANA), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 163.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhosi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dhosi's pin code is 332746[4], and village code is 00731300. The area of Dhosi is segregated as 163 hectares irrigated area, 271 hectares unirrigated, the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 196 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NARNAUL (HARYANA) and Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
