Dhosar is a small village of 732 hectares in Sahara Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhosar depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 41.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhosar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dhosar's pin code is 311802[4], and village code is 02866800. The area of Dhosar is segregated as 104 hectares irrigated area, 110 hectares unirrigated, the 417 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 101 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhosar is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1564 and has total administration over 313 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
