Dhoreta is a small village of 847 hectares in Mandrail Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhoreta depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhoreta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dhoreta's pin code is 322251[4], and village code is 01242400. The area of Dhoreta is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 553 hectares unirrigated, the 92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1.55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Karauli to sell earthen pots and make their living.
