Dhoosri is a small village of 606 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhoosri depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 160.56% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhoosri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhoosri's pin code is 304021[4], and village code is 02606000. The area of Dhoosri is segregated as 171.55 hectares irrigated area, 217.49 hectares unirrigated, the 188.53 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.
