Dholiya is a small village of 6051 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dholiya depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dholiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dholiya's pin code is 342301[4], and village code is 01908600. The area of Dholiya is segregated as 4362 hectares unirrigated, the 1273.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 416.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
