Dholerao Kalan is a small village of 964 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dholerao Kalan depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dholerao Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Dholerao Kalan's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01838800. The area of Dholerao Kalan is segregated as 818.14 hectares unirrigated, the 99.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 47.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.
