Dhodhariya is a small village of 420 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhodhariya depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhodhariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhodhariya's pin code is 304504[4], and village code is 02607400. The area of Dhodhariya is segregated as 70.26 hectares irrigated area, 247.57 hectares unirrigated, the 73.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell carpet and make their living.
