Dhod is a small village of 2078 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhod depends on Losal, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1214.65% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dhod's pin code is 332002[4], and village code is 01696700. The area of Dhod is segregated as 1214.65 hectares irrigated area, 685.82 hectares unirrigated, the 1.55 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 176.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhod is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 8120 and has total administration over 1334 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Losal and Sikar to sell earthen pots and make their living.
