Dhigana is a small village of 859 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhigana depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Dhigana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Dhigana's pin code is 342802[4], and village code is 02004200. The area of Dhigana is segregated as 170 hectares unirrigated, the 105 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 583.85 hectare area not available for cultivation.
