Dheerpura is a small village of 2395 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dheerpura depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dheerpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dheerpura's pin code is 342025[4], and village code is 01981200. The area of Dheerpura is segregated as 341 hectares irrigated area, 1948 hectares unirrigated, remaining 106 hectare area not available for cultivation.
