Dheekwar is a small village of 401 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dheekwar depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 98.37% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dheekwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dheekwar's pin code is 301704[4], and village code is 00756200. The area of Dheekwar is segregated as 98.37 hectares irrigated area, 242.55 hectares unirrigated, the 17.44 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.
