Dheegariya is a small village of 958 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dheegariya depends on SURAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 275.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dheegariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dheegariya's pin code is 333033[4], and village code is 00708100. The area of Dheegariya is segregated as 275 hectares irrigated area, 517 hectares unirrigated, remaining 166 hectare area not available for cultivation.
