Dhawan is a small village of 274 hectares in Todabhim Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhawan depends on TODABHIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhawan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhawan's pin code is 322213[4], and village code is 01188900. The area of Dhawan is segregated as 102.07 hectares irrigated area, 105.05 hectares unirrigated, the 5.47 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 23.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhawan is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1121 and has total administration over 183 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TODABHIM and Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
