Dharoniya is a small village of 863 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dharoniya depends on Bhawani Mandi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 195.54% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dharoniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dharoniya's pin code is 326034[4], and village code is 04108800. The area of Dharoniya is segregated as 195.54 hectares irrigated area, 297.06 hectares unirrigated, the 325.24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 44.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dharoniya is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2353 and has total administration over 457 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhawani Mandi and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
