Dharapura is a small village of 179 hectares in Rajakhera Tehsil in Dholpur district, also known as the land of red stone in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dharapura depends on RAJAKHERA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 25.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dharapura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dharapura's pin code is 328025[3], and village code is 01176200. The area of Dharapura is segregated as 25 hectares irrigated area, 86 hectares unirrigated, the 28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40 hectare area not available for cultivation.
