Dhanwara is a small village of 1195 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhanwara depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhanwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dhanwara's pin code is 343049[4], and village code is 02334600. The area of Dhanwara is segregated as 70 hectares irrigated area, 700 hectares unirrigated, the 102 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 323.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
