Dhantol is a small village of 1071 hectares in Bhinay Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhantol depends on Sarwar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhantol is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhantol's pin code is 305622[4], and village code is 02560400. The area of Dhantol is segregated as 123 hectares irrigated area, 485 hectares unirrigated, the 265 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 198 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sarwar and Ajmer to sell mawa and make their living.
