Dhanota is a small village of 318 hectares in Nagar Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhanota depends on Nagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhanota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhanota's pin code is 321203[4], and village code is 00986700. The area of Dhanota is segregated as 59 hectares irrigated area, 129 hectares unirrigated, remaining 130 hectare area not available for cultivation.
