Dhananwana is a small village of 1564 hectares in Makrana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhananwana depends on Makrana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 459.91% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhananwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dhananwana's pin code is 341319[4], and village code is 01877200. The area of Dhananwana is segregated as 459.91 hectares irrigated area, 967.7 hectares unirrigated, the 61.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 74.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.
