Dhanani is a small village of 1088 hectares in Sayla Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhanani depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhanani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dhanani's pin code is 343023[4], and village code is 02275900. The area of Dhanani is segregated as 865 hectares irrigated area, 25 hectares unirrigated, the 143 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
