Dhamdhar is a small village of 348 hectares in Manohar Thana Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhamdhar depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhamdhar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhamdhar's pin code is 326037[4], and village code is 04064500. The area of Dhamdhar is segregated as 15.88 hectares irrigated area, 23.42 hectares unirrigated, the 185.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aklera and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
