Dhahalawas is a small village of 954 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhahalawas depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhahalawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhahalawas's pin code is 301001[4], and village code is 00852300. The area of Dhahalawas is segregated as 124 hectares irrigated area, 244 hectares unirrigated, the 135 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 208.71 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
