Dewatoo is a small village of 5294 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dewatoo depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 25.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dewatoo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dewatoo's pin code is 342025[4], and village code is 01978800. The area of Dewatoo is segregated as 25 hectares irrigated area, 4701 hectares unirrigated, the 264 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 304 hectare area not available for cultivation.
