Dewasar is a small village of 1072 hectares in Bikaner Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dewasar depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dewasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dewasar's pin code is 334001[4], and village code is 00501900. The area of Dewasar is segregated as 711 hectares unirrigated, the 350 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
