Dewas is a small village of 312 hectares in Masuda Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dewas depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.72% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dewas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dewas's pin code is 305901[4], and village code is 02541500. The area of Dewas is segregated as 78.02 hectares irrigated area, 108.25 hectares unirrigated, the 45.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 80.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dewas is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 714 and has total administration over 148 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
