Dewani is a small village of 1675 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dewani depends on CHHAPAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dewani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dewani's pin code is 331502[4], and village code is 00661500. The area of Dewani is segregated as 1608.91 hectares unirrigated, the 8.89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 57.19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dewani is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1851 and has total administration over 315 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHHAPAR and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
