Devipura is a small village of 220 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Devipura depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Devipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Devipura's pin code is 303103[4], and village code is 01470900. The area of Devipura is segregated as 40.5 hectares irrigated area, 55.26 hectares unirrigated, the 23.83 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 80.66 hectare area not available for cultivation.
