Devi Pura is a small village of 922 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Devi Pura depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Devi Pura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Devi Pura's pin code is 344001[4], and village code is 02088200. The area of Devi Pura is segregated as 805.03 hectares unirrigated, the 50.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
