Dev Nagar is a small village of 573 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dev Nagar depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dev Nagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dev Nagar's pin code is 344021[4], and village code is 02168100. The area of Dev Nagar is segregated as 547.41 hectares unirrigated, the 6.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.
