Deuga is a small village of 491 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deuga depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deuga is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Deuga's pin code is 345033[4], and village code is 02024000. The area of Deuga is segregated as remaining 491.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
