Deu is a small village of 3853 hectares in Kheenvsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deu depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deu is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deu's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01818100. The area of Deu is segregated as 27.03 hectares irrigated area, 2582.68 hectares unirrigated, the 117.11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1125.99 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
