Deshma is a small village of 1231 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deshma depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deshma is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deshma's pin code is 304504[4], and village code is 02591100. The area of Deshma is segregated as 75 hectares irrigated area, 902 hectares unirrigated, the 101 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 153 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deshma is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1948 and has total administration over 346 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 575 male, 490 female with 1005 (94.37%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 545 males and 460 females. 211 males and 196 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 60 male and 45 female agricultural labor. 60 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell earthen pot and make their living.
