Deorod is a small village of 1092 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deorod depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 345.30% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deorod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Deorod's pin code is 333035[4], and village code is 00703500. The area of Deorod is segregated as 345.3 hectares irrigated area, 545.49 hectares unirrigated, the 163.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 38.23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deorod is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3464 and has total administration over 657 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHIRAWA and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
