Deonagar is a small village of 322 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deonagar depends on Bakani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 75.20% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deonagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deonagar's pin code is 326022[4], and village code is 04029100. The area of Deonagar is segregated as 75.2 hectares irrigated area, 161.74 hectares unirrigated, the 73.64 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.56 hectare area not available for cultivation.
