Deoka is a small village of 2112 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deoka depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deoka is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Deoka's pin code is 344705[4], and village code is 02097000. The area of Deoka is segregated as 733.14 hectares unirrigated, the 386.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 992.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
