Deobarniyan is a small village of 172 hectares in Tonk Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deobarniyan depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deobarniyan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deobarniyan's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02634500. The area of Deobarniyan is segregated as 41.09 hectares irrigated area, 117.03 hectares unirrigated, the 5.11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
