Deo Doongri is a small village of 196 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deo Doongri depends on Bakani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 19.67% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deo Doongri is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bakani and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
