Dennis M.I.K. (born 23 June 1997 as Dennis Kyere) is a Ghanaian-German dancer, choreographer, content creator and model. He is one of the core members of the creative collective M.I.K Family founded in 2006.[1][2]

Early life

Dennis Kyere is of Ghanaian descent, was born in Duisburg, Germany but spent his teen years in Watford, England. He found interest in Dance through his older brothers Prince Ofori (Founder of M.I.K Family) and Isaac Kyere who are also core members of M.I.K Family. The collective was founded in 2006 in a youth club in Berlin, Germany[3]. Dennis was five-years-old when he first entered the youth club,[4] and has taken dance as his passion ever since. The first rise to fame came in 2013 by becoming finalists at the ProSieben TV show Got To Dance.[5][6]

He also finished his bachelor's degree in business marketing at Brunel University London in 2019. Education was always a priority in his household, next to his personal hobbies and interests.[7]

Career

"It'll never get as real as this again"cites German news paper TAZ about Dennis and his brothers.[8] Dennis is an all-rounder. Whether it is modelling for major brands such as Adidas,[9] touring with German Music Stars such as Peter Fox (musician)[10] or securing a lead role in movies such as Into The Beat.[11] which aired on Netflix, national Television and German Cinemas[12][13][14] Dennis is seen at numerous exclusive parties including Met Gala (After Party)[15] with A-list celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Edward Enninful, Sean Combs and more.[16][17][18][19]

Dennis decided to take social media serious in 2018, and his followers have grown ever since. To date, Dennis has over 6 million followers on TikTok[20], over 450 thousand followers on Instagram[21] and over 250 thousand subscribers on YouTube.[22]

He is classed as the pioneer of Litefeet in Germany and became the first German to win the European Litefeet Championship in 2019 in Paris.[23] Litefeet is a dance style founded by ChryBaby Cozie, Mr. YouTube and AG the Voice of Harlem in the early 2000s in New York.
