Delasar is a small village of 11647 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Delasar depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Delasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Delasar's pin code is 345031[4], and village code is 02038200. The area of Delasar is segregated as 239.13 hectares irrigated area, 2460.93 hectares unirrigated, the 8662.78 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 284.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Delasar is a census village in the district of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2025 and has total administration over 269 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaisalmer to sell blanket and make their living.
