Deewri is a small village of 432 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deewri depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 187.44% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deewri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deewri's pin code is 326023[4], and village code is 04020200. The area of Deewri is segregated as 187.44 hectares irrigated area, 13.05 hectares unirrigated, the 85.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43.57 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
