Dedoosar is a small village of 2777 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dedoosar depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dedoosar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dedoosar's pin code is 344702[4], and village code is 02250500. The area of Dedoosar is segregated as 2361 hectares unirrigated, the 298 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 118 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell leather shoes and make their living.
