Dediya is a small village of 3725 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dediya depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dediya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dediya's pin code is 345021[4], and village code is 01929100. The area of Dediya is segregated as 2267.09 hectares unirrigated, the 81.58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1376.41 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
