Dedawas Charnan is a small village of 300 hectares in Gudha Malani Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dedawas Charnan depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dedawas Charnan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dedawas Charnan's pin code is 344031[4], and village code is 02204100. The area of Dedawas Charnan is segregated as 84 hectares irrigated area, 148 hectares unirrigated, the 10.01 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 58 hectare area not available for cultivation.
