Debasish Mondal (born 12 December 1986) is an Indian actor.[1][2] He is mostly known for his contribution in the Bengali film industry.[3] He has also featured in Hindi films and web series. Some of his notable works include Mandaar (2021), The Family Man (2019), Johny Bonny (2022)and The Eken (2022).[4]
Career
Debasish started his film career with a cameo in Children of War in 2014.[5] He played the role of Jayesh in The Family Man in 2019.[6] In the same year, he played a lead role in Anirban Bhattacharya's Mandaar.[7][8] In 2022, he featured in Mahabharat Murders.[9] In the same year, he also featured in a lead role in Abhijit Chowdhury's Johny Bonny. In 2023, he played the role of a police officer in Bengali crime-thriller Shikarpur.[10] In the same year, he featured in Abar Proloy and Raktabeej.[11][12]
Biography
He was born in Kanchrapara. Debasish completed his schooling from Kanchrapara Harnett High School. He graduated from the National School of Drama.[3]
