Dean Odle is an American author and preacher who has ministered in churches in Africa, Washington D.C., and Alabama.[1] In 2022 Odle became a political figure when he ran for Governor of Alabama in the gubernatorial Republican primary against incumbent Kay Ivey. [2]

Early years

Dean Odle grew up in Opelika, Alabama until the 11th grade when he moved to Montgomery. In 1987 Odle began his ministry after having a dramatic encounter with Jesus Christ.[3] Odle has been a youth pastor, missionary, church planter and pastor. He also taught Bible and civil government classes to students through a homeschool co-op.[4]

Ministry

In 2009 Odle started Fire and Grace Church in Opelika, where he is currently the pastor and runs a ministry school.[5]

In 2018 Dean Odle founded Fire & Grace School of Ministry.[6]
