David Capablanca (born April 24, 1984) is an American entrepreneur and stock trader known for his expertise in short-selling stocks. Capablanca, born and raised in Miami, FL, to a Cuban mother and Persian father, went from career architect to verified 7-figure trader, despite overcoming a life-altering brain tumor while pursuing a Masters in Architecture at CLA. Under the guidance of renowned architect Thom Mayne, he made significant contributions to the transformative Haiti Now Project, showcasing his dedication and passion for positively impacting society. Combining his architecture skills such as pattern recognition, puzzle solving, and creative thinking with his understanding of manipulation in the markets, David began short selling, and after having initial success in short-selling small-cap stocks in 2020, he relocated to San Juan, Puerto Rico to further his learning under some of the best traders in the world.
