David Ardia is a law professor and academic best-known for his work in media law, privacy, and internet law. He is the Reef C. Ivey II Excellence Fund Term Professor of Law and faculty co-director of the Center for Media Law and Policy at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[1][2]

Ardia has written a multitude of papers on various topics within the scope of media law, cyberlaw, and the First Amendment, which have been published across many law schools, such as Harvard Law School, William & Mary School of Law, and University of Illinois Law School.[1][3][4][5][6] He is also the co-author of Media and the Law: Second Edition.[1][7]
