DataMexico is a public open code platform with 13,485 profiles[3] with sistematized data about regional economy, infraestructure, exterior comerce, employment, education, public security and other economic related data in Mexico. Was developed by the Mexico's Secretariat of Economy and Datawheel[4], with his founder Cesar Hidalgo. The platform's official release date was in july 21, 2020. Awarded for its purpose of monitoring results and evaluate Public Policy Cycle[5]. DataMexico consolidates data from 10 open data sources into a PostgreSQL database accessible via a public API[6]. Its design is inspired by preceding national data platforms like Data USA and Data Chile[7].
