Dasawas is a small village of 625 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dasawas depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 159.70% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Dasawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dasawas's pin code is 341513[4], and village code is 01845500. The area of Dasawas is segregated as 330.2 hectares irrigated area, 187.15 hectares unirrigated, the 65.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.63 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dasawas is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1422 and has total administration over 239 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
