Darura is a small village of 589 hectares in Mandrail Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Darura depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Darura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Darura's pin code is 322251[4], and village code is 01241800. The area of Darura is segregated as 4.37 hectares irrigated area, 84.8 hectares unirrigated, the 40.83 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 101.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.
